Extremely sorry for not being online these past few days, just returned from hospital after fracturing my skull and badly injuring my back. I feel stupid just typing this, but after rescuing a dog from a tree - a dead tree that kind of overhangs a small river where we walk at a ninety degree angle, he got stuck and struggled when I lifted him. Just got back, but will respond to notes, etc., once I have had some sleep.

Hello all, to cut a long story short I am fine, for the most part, and will be back and active again on DA and on Patreon. I got a minor, brain injury, had to have several rounds of surgery and one went poorly meaning I am worse at Scrabble, get to park more easily, and freaked out for a year or so - which involved quite a bit of travelling. So I am down a few IQ points and have a memory like a sieve that has been used for shooting practice, mostly its more a minor frustration than a legit disability, but I'm still keeping the special parking pass. Pain in my Brain
So went in to have stitches remove, and instead got to enjoy three round of brain surgery and a medically induced coma. Fine now, though extremely woolly headed and told I may have lost a few IQ points. I basically only remember having nightmares about leaving my dogs alone for a week, though in actuality I arranged for a kennels to pick them up, but just did not remember.
I'll be staying with my parents for a couple of days as I cannot really manage alone, but I'll contact people when I come home in a day or two and can think straight.

Page views are perhaps not the most valuable guide since a lot of them comes from simple time on the site, I am fairly certain I had 13 page views when I posted my first piece some 2 years ago - but it was definitely a very low number after lurking for 6 years - but its still very pleasing to reach this, arbitrarily, awesome number!
